COOKING CLASS | at HER Table: Sourdough Pasta Making

Everyone loves Sourdough Loaves but did you know that sourdough starter can be used in many different ways to make delicious meals? Yes! And one of our favorite ways to use sourdough starter is to make sourdough pasta. Join Ashley as she teaches you how to make handmade sourdough pasta.

Event Date: April 23rd, 2025

Event Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm

In this hands on class you will :

  • Learn how to use sourdough starter to make hand made sourdough pasta served with fresh basil pesto!! 

  • Receive the gift of a developed sourdough starter that Ashley has replicated for you from her own.

  • Mix a batch of pasta dough to take home with you and practice making pasta at home with your loved ones.

  • Be given a detailed recipe booklet with process images, recipes from class, and resources that will support and guide you on your journey with handmade sourdough pasta.

  • Joyfully eat a family style meal.

  • Leave class feeling connected, creative, prepared, and nourished.

ABOUT ASHLEY…

My name is Ashley Smith and I am a woman who wears many hats! I am a mamma, healing artist, health enthusiast, homesteader, mentor, and a self taught chef who loves to collaborate and share with others what I learn and practice. I believe food is a sacred bridge to ourselves, each other, and the earth. Cooking, our relationship to food, and the communities we break bread with are deeply sacred. How I interact with food in my daily life is both practical and magical. When I teach classes, not only do I share techniques, I also teach how to weave magic into the mundane in an effort to improve life. I love gathering with groups and cooking together because as a community we can expand feelings of joy and connection while developing confidence and skills.
