We were founded in 2015 by Ree Dolnick, who wears many hats. She’s been everything from a mother to a sous chef to a cancer researcher. With her culinary and scientific backgrounds, Ree started making all-natural energy bars in her kitchen. They became such a hit with her friends that she started JECA Energy Bar Company. She even named the company after her daughter’s nickname. JECA is a Women Owned Small Business.
